Lola Banjo is the Director of Marketing Communications at Campbell & Company, with responsibilities of overseeing marketing programs, brand management, employee engagement and internal communications, business development, thought leadership, and association sponsorships. Prior to joining Campbell & Company, she worked in implementing effective marketing strategies in the Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, and Technology industries.
Notable is her five years as Marketing Communications Specialist, where she led strategic physician-to-physician marketing campaigns for the Women’s Health Program at Prentice Women’s Hospital and Northwestern Memorial Hospital and generated national recognition and top rankings in the U.S. News and World Report for the hospital.
Her greatest strengths are her creativity, drive, and leadership, and she thrives on challenges, particularly those that expand an organization’s reach to foster greater brand-building and revenue-gaining opportunities.
Lola is an advocate for advancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the workplace and Chicago United’s Corporate Inclusion Institute Cohort III. She has also volunteered for the Ronald McDonald House Charities Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana and the National Latino Education Institute (NLEI). She is a supporter of the Special Olympics Chicago, American Heart Association, Making Strides for Breast Cancer, and Les Turner ALS Foundation.
She holds a bachelor’s degree in Corporate Communications from Point Park University, a Master of Science in Integrated Marketing Communications from Roosevelt University, and a Master of Arts in New Media Technology from DePaul University. She is also certified in Social Media Marketing, Email Marketing, Search Engine Optimization, and Inbound Marketing.
In her spare time, Lola likes to travel and experience different cultures, spend time with her family and friends, and engage in creative indoor and outdoor activities.
