About Cassie Carter

As a Senior Consultant with broad fundraising, nonprofit, and higher education experience, Cassie Carter brings a well-rounded perspective to her clients as they tackle fundraising challenges. Cassie collaborates closely with clients, supporting and mentoring them to develop the tools and fundraising experience that will lead the organization to long-term success. Cassie most values the opportunity to:

  • Work with leadership, staff volunteers and donors to elevate their confidence by strengthening their fundraising skills and empower them.
  • Help to raise donors’ sights, showing them a client’s strengths and how their increased giving can help transform an organization.

Cassie’s fundraising leadership has included positions at Hawaii Pacific University, where she served as the Associate Vice President for Development and Director of Campaigns; the College of Science and Mathematics at Cal Poly, where she served as the Associate Vice President for Development Operations and Director of Advancement; and the Montana Outdoor School, where she served as Executive Director and played the role of primary fundraiser.

Cassie has also demonstrated her commitment to the nonprofit community, both as an employee and board member at several leading environmental and educational organizations throughout California and Montana. 

Cassie holds a doctoral degree in Teaching and Learning with an emphasis on science education and public administration from the University of Southern California, as well as a bachelor’s degree in biology from California State University-Northridge.
