Sarah Marino brings creativity and a tailored approach to each engagement with an appreciation for the uniqueness of every cause and community. Sarah’s 20 years of direct development experience gives her the skills to support organizations through many challenges. She has deep experience in major gift and relationship-based fundraising. She has published thought leadership and presented to national forums on engaging with donors from the technology industry, building resilient organizations, and equitable recognition practices. Sarah leads the firm’s strategic outreach for the Pacific Northwest and is the former manager of Campbell’s Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Council, where she led Campbell’s effort to build equity in our firm and industry.   

Prior to joining Campbell & Company 7 years ago, Sarah served as Vice President of Institutional Giving and Women’s Philanthropy at Opportunity International where she managed high-value partnerships. She also served as Opportunity’s National Fundraising Director in Australia, where she sat on the leadership team, managed a national major gifts team and worked strategically with the Board of Directors. Sarah has also worked in events and corporate fundraising roles in the Bay Area for the Make-A-Wish Foundation and TheatreWorks and in Chicago at the Steppenwolf Theatre Company.   

Sarah holds an MBA from the University of San Francisco and a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Dance as well as a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Santa Clara University. She is an active community volunteer serving on the board of Healing Fields Foundation and as a member of Washington Women’s Foundation.
