Kate Roosevelt

Co-President

“At its core, fundraising is a human- and values-centered enterprise, and so discovering and amplifying each person’s unique talents is at the root of what we do. We help volunteer and professional leaders channel their passions and build skills to be engaging champions for their causes. Leaders need structure and support to see the possibilities and stay the course.”

Kate Roosevelt brings to her work 20 years of experience in the nonprofit sector and a deep belief in every organization’s power to make an impact. With strategic vision and a collaborative spirit, she leads Campbell & Company’s Northwest and West regions. She also serves as executive sponsor of the firm’s DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Access) Council. In her client work, Kate’s intelligence and “calm in the storm” guidance have helped nonprofit organizations raise hundreds of millions of dollars. Clients rely on Kate to:

  • Clarify what matters to an organization and its community
  • Synthesize the complex pieces of a campaign or fundraising program into a clear plan
  • Help volunteers find and embrace the unique contributions they can make toward fundraising goals
  • Keep every project focused and moving forward

Prior to joining our firm, Kate worked on various projects as an independent fundraising and management consultant. She served as Executive Director of the Washington Wildlife and Recreation Coalition and Associate Director of the Cascade Center for Public Service at University of Washington.

Kate regularly presents on fundraising topics at local and national conferences and is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Advancement Northwest. As a volunteer, Kate is a Trustee of Colby College, her alma mater, from which she holds a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies.
