About Melissa Herman

Melissa earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Towson University and has used her passion for writing and editing throughout her career. After college, she was the senior executive reporter for a background investigations company and quickly realized providing administrative support behind the scenes to create a finished product for the client was invigorating. For over twenty years, Melissa has used her expertise in several Executive Assistant roles providing high level support to Executives within the healthcare, technology, retail, management data systems, and supply chain sectors.

Prior to Campbell & Company, Melissa supported several Partners at a management consulting firm in Chicago where she was able to hone her complex calendar management skills while supporting executives who had both international clients and travel. She loves the adrenaline rush of event planning and has assisted with organizing everything from small local internal events to international firm events in Mexico and Spain with over 400 attendees.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son and their two dogs. When not on a dog walk around her Chicago neighborhood, she is watching true crime shows and cooking up a new recipe.
