“I believe that organizations both fulfill and advance their mission(s) through strategic and targeted executive placement. I strive to position diverse voices, identities, and perspectives in positions of leadership so non-profits can become more robust and resilient institutions in the long run.”
As an Associate Consultant, Executive Search, Kole conducts original research, identifies and interviews candidates, manages stakeholder relationships, and supports the search process to equip the nonprofit sector with outstanding, adept leaders.
Kole was born and raised in several cities throughout the Western United States, including the San Francisco Bay Area, Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, and San Diego, and presently, he lives in Seattle. This interurban upbringing in the American West contributed to his deep understanding of, and sensitivity to, the various socioeconomic, cultural, and historical factors which can affect nonprofit institutions in this region of the country. He primarily works with clients in the Greater Pacific Northwest and West region.
Kole graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Pitzer College, a member of the Claremont Consortium. As an undergraduate, he served as a Fellow in the Office of Career Services, where he actively marketed the college to prospective students and families, as well as assisted first and second-year students with the development of application materials for internships, externships, fellowships, and full-time hire opportunities.
Prior to Campbell & Company, Kole worked in the technology sector, where he worked cross-functionally with international teams, engaged in project management, and was a client-facing team member. He actively identifies highly qualified and well-suited talent for Campbell & Company clients while also keeping a DEIA (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Access) mindset front of mind. Kole is proud to be part of Campbell & Company’s Executive Search team, ranked one of the nation’s Top 10 search firms for women of color by Women of Color in Fundraising and Philanthropy (WOC)® two years in a row and one of the country’s best executive search firms for four years by Forbes Magazine.
His volunteer experience spans from environmental and human service organizations such as TreePeople and St. Mary’s Dining Room. Outside of the office, Kole enjoys exploring the mountains and vast evergreen forests in the Pacific Northwest, snowboarding, cooking new recipes, reading about and engaging in political as well as economic discourse, volunteering with environmental organizations, spending time with family and friends, and learning new skills and subjects.
