Natalie Edwards
Major Gifts Officer
Chicago History Museum
Natalie Edwards joined the Chicago History Museum as its new Major Gifts Officer in August 2024. She brings 14 years of development experience, primarily within arts and culture institutions across the Chicagoland area. In her most recent role as Director of Major and Planned Giving for the Newberry Library, Natalie cultivated relationships with high capacity donors while also developing a pipeline of new donors to the institution. She previously served with the Chicago Humanities Festival, Growing Home, and the Ox-Bow School of Art, and earned both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Natalie is drawn to this role with the Chicago History Museum because of a personal passion for Chicago history and the opportunity to use her experience to support the Museum in engaging new, diverse audiences.
