Brandon joined Seattle Jobs Initiative as their Managing Director of Policy and Consulting in November 2022. Bringing 25+ years of experience in national service, education, workforce and economic development, he is a prolific author and fundraiser, having produced over $30 million in funding and written numerous books helping students identify and pay for their career pathways. As a community college dean, he nearly doubled enrollment for his branch campus while increasing faculty diversity by 40%, and building the largest apprenticeship program in Pierce County, Washington. As an educator and consultant, he has advocated for the under-served, leading to policies that have improved the lives of those most in need. A first-generation college student, second-generation speaker of English and army brat who has visited every state and many countries abroad, he is a firm believer in the adage that none of us is as smart as all of us.
