About Sarah Barnes
Sarah Barnes rejoined Campbell & Company after leading marketing efforts at InnerWorkings, a global marketing execution firm. In her expanded role as Director, Marketing and Business Development, Sarah leads Campbell & Company’s marketing team and strategy and oversees business development efforts. She also enjoys working with clients as a digital fundraising consultant to assess and improve online donor experience.
Sarah’s professional experience includes serving as the Vice President of Marketing and Communications for a national executive search and M&A firm. Additionally, she helped spearhead consumer protection products at Discover Financial Services.
Sarah is a former adjunct professor for the Loyola University Chicago School of Business where she taught classes in Digital Marketing and Marketing for more ten years. She is a frequent lecturer and guest speaker, having spoken at the Center for Nonprofit Success, the Chicago-Kent College of Law Conference on Non-For-Profit Organizations, the DePaul University Graduate School of Public Relations, Interlochen Arts Academy, and at the University of Illinois Champaign-Urbana American Marketing Association.
Sarah’s career started as the Director of Marketing and Communications for Midwest Young Artists Conservatory (MYAC), a nonprofit organization for talented young musicians, where she now serves as a board member. She is also proud to serve as a mentor at YearUp, a nonprofit focused on closing the opportunity divide.
Sarah received her Bachelor of Music Performance from Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and her Master of Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago, both with honors.
