Nancy is passionate about community-centered philanthropy and believes in empowering nonprofits with the tools to create sustainable solutions. In her role as an Associate Consultant, Nancy assists organizations through tailored development operations, strengthening their impact to create meaningful change.
Nancy came to Campbell & Company from Chicago Foundation for Women (CFW), where she served as a Development Associate. In that role, she spent the majority of her time managing a range of annual fundraising events, including oversight of registrations, seating, finances, and volunteer recruitment and training for the organization’s signature Annual Luncheon—a high-profile benefit that raises over $1.2 million and draws over 2,000 attendees. Nancy also held full responsibility for the planning and execution of several regional events that raised $15,000 - $20,000. Her remaining time was focused on maintaining records and reports in CFW’s donor database.
Prior to her role at CFW, Nancy held internships with Mujeres Latinas en Acción and Illinois Equal Justice Foundation. It was through these experiences, which she pursued out of a desire to establish a career in the nonprofit sector, that she was introduced to the profession of development. Nancy enjoys building relationships with donors as well as the community members served by nonprofit organizations.
Nancy has a Bachelor of Arts in Gender and Women Studies and a Minor in Sociology from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
