About Jen Lee

Jen brings to her client engagements nearly a decade of combined experience as both a consultant and an in-the-trenches fundraiser. She has particular expertise in relationship-based fundraising where giving is a result of meaningful, long-term engagements. Jen’s analytical mind—she is known for being able to quickly identify the gaps in a development program and propose the most effective solutions—is equally matched by her inquisitive and collaborative approach to problem-solving. In her client work, Jen looks for opportunities to:

  • Build and strengthen existing infrastructure and systems
  • Apply her past experience in event management and volunteer relations to guide staff to build better relationships with donors and potential donors
  • Help staff transition first-time donors into long-term supporters of an organization
  • Implement sustainable fundraising practices

Before joining our firm, Jen was a Gift Officer at the Seattle Symphony where she successfully stewarded new and existing Founders Circle members and major donors; helped to strategize and bring in five-figure gifts and above; and managed fundraising, benefit, and cultivation events.

Jen volunteers regularly with Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) – Advancement Northwest and serves on the board of Seattle Chamber Music Society. She is also a pianist and accompanies the Endolyne Children’s Choir in West Seattle. Jen holds a Bachelor of Music in Music Business and Management from Berklee College of Music and a Master of Arts in Performing Arts Administration and Cultural Policy from Goldsmiths University of London.
