ABOUT Elise Krikau

Elise Krikau brings over 20 years of professional experience across the healthcare, education and human services sectors to her role as Senior Consultant at Campbell & Company. With tenure as both a leader in these sectors and a development professional across several others, Elise has broad ranging and multi-faceted experiences that provide a wealth of information and insight to her clients, resulting in innovative and creative solutions to the challenges of development in today’s environment.

Before joining Campbell & Company, Elise served as the Assistant Dean for Advancement for the University of Illinois at Chicago’s College of Applied Health Sciences. She maintained a major gift portfolio and oversaw all aspects of fundraising for the college, including annual and planned giving. She worked with academic and fundraising leaders, managed the Alumni Board, and was responsible for founding the College’s Advisory Council.

Prior to UIC, Elise served as Manager of Major Gifts at the Greater Chicago Food Depository, where she helped to implement a major gifts program. She began her development career as Development Coordinator at Advocate Christ Medical Center, a position she held for eighteen months before being promoted to Manager of Development. While working at Christ Medical Center, she partnered with physician leaders to create advisory councils for the Heart and Vascular Institute, the Cancer Institute, and the Emergency Medicine Department. 

Elise is a member of the Maryland Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and serves on the Board as a member-at-large and Program Committee member. She graduated from Central Michigan University with a Master’s of Science in Administration (concentration in health services) and received a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management from North Park University.
