Dequila Jones

Associate Consultant, Fundraising

Human Services, Frontline Fundraising, Major Gifts, DEI, Youth Development

Dequila Jones comes to Campbell & Company from City Year Boston, where she served as Individual Giving Manager since June 2018. In that role, she personally raised nearly $1 million annually toward a larger organizational budget of $8.4 million through building and managing a portfolio of individual donors, successfully soliciting individual and corporate gifts of $45K+, and planning and executing two high-profile annual donor events. Additionally, she played a lead role in furthering City Year’s internal and external DEI efforts.

Prior to her work at City Year Boston, Dequila held roles at Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay, and at St. Mary’s Center for Women and Children (both located in Boston, MA). During her time with St. Mary’s (her first job), she wrote a successful grant application for funding through Project Bread. She credits this early experience as having opened her eyes to how pivotal the role of fundraising is in breaking the cycle of poverty and inequality in our country and has pursued a development-focused career since.

Dequila has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Minor in Communications from Newberry College in Brookline, MA. She recently relocated from Boston to Chicago and is excited to be exploring a new city.
