On April 3rd, the Washington, DC office of Campbell & Company added a new Senior Consultant to its ranks, enhancing the team’s ability to serve clients and impact nonprofits on the East Coast. Elise Krikau joined the experienced consulting team from Campbell & Company’s Chicago office. Her strong background in higher education and healthcare will benefit the DC region, where Campbell & Company has operated an office for 25 years and continues to enjoy close partnerships with area organizations.
“Elise will be a huge asset to our clients in the DC area and across the East Coast,” says Jeff Wilklow, Vice President of Campbell & Company and leader of the DC office. “Her healthcare and higher education background coupled with her major gifts, advisory council, and board experience will give our team additional depth and allow us to grow our already strong presence in the region.”
Before moving to our DC office, Elise worked with the team on a number of engagements, including campaign planning studies for Ford’s Theatre Society in Washington, DC, The Common Application in Arlington, VA, and Bottom Line in Boston. Her Midwest work includes interim management for La Rabida Children’s Hospital in Chicago and a campaign planning study for Ball State University Foundation in Muncie, IN.
Prior to joining the firm, Elise served in a number of development leadership roles, gaining extensive experience in major gifts. As Assistant Dean for Advancement for the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Applied Health Sciences, she maintained a major gift portfolio, managed the Alumni Board, and founded the College’s Advisory Council.
Before UIC, Elise implemented a major gifts program as Manager of Major Gifts at the Greater Chicago Food Depository. She began her development career at Advocate Christ Medical Center, serving as Development Coordinator for a year and a half before being promoted to Manager of Development. In this position, she partnered with physician leaders to create several department-specific advisory councils.
“I’m excited to put my experience to work serving nonprofits in the DC area and all along the East Coast,” explains Elise. “Campbell & Company has seen tremendous growth in the region, and I’m looking forward to increasing our reach, building relationships with more area organizations, and expanding my network.”
Please join us in welcoming Elise to the DC team!
