We’re pleased to announce that we have recently added seven new additions to our team. These professionals represent a diverse group of skills and a wealth of experience in fundraising, communications, graphic design, analytics, and marketing. Dermont Smith – Senior Consultant, Collins Group
Dermont-Smith.jpgDermont joins our Collins Group division with over 20 years of experience in development. As National Director of the Middle Donor Team at World Vision, Dermont helped nearly triple annual revenue from gifts between $2,000 and $25,000. He now looks forward to having a similar impact on our nonprofit partners in the Seattle area and beyond.


Taylor Schmidt – Associate Consultant, Strategic Information Services
Taylor-Schmidt.jpgTaylor brings a strong background in math and statistics to her work, helping clients turn complex information into useful insights. Her background as an Actuarial Analyst gives her a unique perspective on how data can inform strategy, which combined with her commitment to the nonprofit sector, makes her a valuable addition to our team.


Kelsey Nelson – Associate Consultant
Kelsey-Nelson.jpgHaving worked both in higher education and in arts and culture philanthropy, Kelsey brings diverse experience to her role as an Associate Consultant. In positions at the University of Michigan and the Adler Planetarium, Kelsey has handled annual giving, volunteer engagement, special events, fundraising metrics, and more—expertise that will benefit Campbell & Company’s clients. 


Stefan Coisson – Senior Designer (complete bio available soon!)
Stefan-Coisson.jpgStefan joins Campbell & Company from Columbia College, where he served as a leader of Columbia’s design team and honed his skills in print design, digital and web design, and photography and art direction. These skills make him an important addition to our Communications Consulting team and will allow Campbell & Company to offer in-house graphic design for the first time.


Damien Berliet – Associate Consultant
Berliet, Damien 350pxs.jpgDamien previously developed all internal and external communications from the President’s Office at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, including speeches, proposals for potential donors and partner institutions, and scripts for donor presentations. This work has given him an appreciation for the important role effective communication plays in the fundraising process and prepared him to put his communications skills to work for Campbell & Company’s clients.

Molly Saks – Marketing Content Associate (picture coming soon)
Molly recently completed an M.S. in Marketing at the University of Cincinnati Lindner College of Business and an AmeriCorps VISTA service year, during which she managed a community gardening program. She has also worked as a Public Relations Associate, writing press releases, digital copy, and blog posts. Her mix of writing and project management skills will benefit the Marketing team at Campbell & Company.

Sarah Barnes – Director of Marketing and Business Development
Sarah-Barnes.jpgSarah returns to Campbell & Company after leading marketing efforts at InnerWorkings, a global marketing execution firm. She has held a number of leadership roles throughout her career and has a strong background in marketing, management, and business development. Sarah also serves as an adjunct professor for the Loyola University Chicago School of Business. This deep knowledge will serve her as she leads Campbell & Company’s marketing team and oversees business development efforts.

As an Online Fundraising Consultant, Sarah Barnes works with organizations to optimize their online presence through analyzing data that ultimately reveals strategies for the future. In her work with clients, Sarah most values opportunities to review and assess online data from multiple channels such as an organization’s website, social media channels and email marketing initiatives, to inform decisions, as well as working closely with organizations to brainstorm and identify and optimize strategic online fundraising initiatives.
