Campbell & Company Celebrates 40 Years of Serving Nonprofit Institutions

August 4, 2016, Chicago, IL: Campbell & Company, a national philanthropic consulting firm, is celebrating its 40th anniversary of serving the nonprofit sector.

CC_Logo_Stacked_40th_v1_OL.jpgFounded in 1976, Campbell & Company has grown from a single office in Chicago to multiple regional offices and a North American perspective on the power and promise of the growing nonprofit sector. With the mission to collaborate and innovate with people who change lives through philanthropic vision and action, Campbell & Company partners with nonprofit organizations during crucial times in their growth and provides them with the experience and resources necessary for them to achieve their fundraising goals and staffing needs. Our partners build museums that promote appreciation of art and culture; advance knowledge and learning through schools and educational programs; protect lands, waters and animals through conservation;  and improve lives through access to healthcare and a commitment to ending hunger. Having served more than 2,000 nonprofit organizations, Campbell & Company has received national recognition for its expertise in campaign and fundraising management, advancement planning, annual giving strategies, communications, executive search, and analytics and data management.

“As we celebrate our 40th anniversary, we are both grateful for our heritage and proud of our evolution,” said Peter Fissinger, President & Chief Executive Officer of Campbell & Company. “We began our work focusing strictly on planning and implementing capital campaigns. From that core service, Campbell & Company has evolved to provide multiple services and developed increasingly sophisticated capabilities to accommodate the expanding needs of our nonprofit organizations and their donors. We believe we have prospered because of our dual ability to stay focused on philanthropy and people and our willingness to change and grow. As an employee-owned firm, we all have a direct stake in the success of every client. We believe this has enhanced our commitment to being innovative and accumulating knowledge and professional experience. We learn from each engagement, and we apply our knowledge to every new engagement. We invest in new technology and services, but remain focused on the simplicity and beauty of philanthropy.”

Fissinger added, “As we look ahead for the next 40 years, we know that we will continue to change at an even faster rate to meet the needs of those we serve.”
