Event: Optimizing Your Portfolio for Major Gift Success
June 16, 2017 in Seattle, WA at the AFP Advancement Northwest Forum on Strategic Fundraising
Session 2, 11:30 am - 12:30pm: Major Gifts Track
Managing relationships with major donors is a highly pressurized pursuit. There are a lot of expectations on both sides of the relationship, a lot to get right, and quite a bit that can go wrong. What if there was a way to organize all your donors to ensure they were moving to gift closure and being properly stewarded?
Join us for this problem-solving session on how you can effectively manage your growing portfolio and spend time on the highest potential donors. We will discuss tactical and practical ways to optimize management of your portfolio using strategies learned from a variety of nonprofit organizations. This session will give you tools to take back to your office and apply immediately. We will walk you through how to build your portfolio, move relationships along the cycle in a disciplined way and tips for using the database to support your activity.
