Event: Compelling Major Gifts Stories and Strategies

Major gifts need to be the focus of every fundraising program. Ideally, 80% of your donations should come from major gifts. Define for your community if that means $1,000 or more a year; $5,000; or $10,000. For hospital fundraising it is critically important to move past the yearly gala and/or golf tournament to major gifts. We’ll explore ways of developing special projects to help create these compelling major gift stories and relate some of the major gift stories from doctors, big gift donors, grateful patient families, and board members who help to inspire others. An interactive section of the presentation will enable everyone to get involved.
