Webinar: Giving USA 2020 Milwaukee
Thursday, June 18, 2020: 10:30-11:45am Central
Webinar offered in partnership with AFP Southeastern Wisconsin.
About this webinar:
On June 16th, Giving USA will release its annual report on philanthropy, publishing in-depth research on the who, what, and where of giving in 2019. To mark the release, Campbell & Company is hosting Giving USA 2020 Milwaukee, an online gathering for leaders across the nonprofit sector. Together, we will discuss the current environment, explore what past trends can—and cannot—tell us, and forecast what’s next for our sector.
During the event, we will pinpoint the biggest headlines from 2019, with a focus on what has changed in 2020 so far, how the COVID-19 pandemic is reshaping philanthropy, and where we go from here. A panel of Milwaukee nonprofit leaders will weigh in on the data, sharing on-the-ground experiences and practical advice for their peers. Panel includes:
- Héctor Colón, President and CEO, Lutheran Social Services of Wisconsin and Upper Michigan
- Frank Cumberbatch, Vice President of Engagement, Bader Philanthropies
- Liz Powell, President and CEO, Racine Community Foundation
Helping to inform and moderate the conversation:
- Melissa Berliner, Vice President, Campbell & Company
CFRE: Full participation in this webinar is applicable for up to 1.25 CFRE continuing education points in category 1.B - Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
