Giving USA 2020: A Virtual Forum on Philanthropy
Tuesday, June 16, 2020: 12:00-1:30pm Central
About this event:
Hosted by Campbell & Company with media sponsor The Chronicle of Philanthropy, Giving USA 2020: A Virtual Forum on Philanthropy is an online gathering for leaders across the nonprofit sector. Together, we will discuss the current environment, explore what past trends can—and cannot—tell us, and forecast what’s next for our sector.
On June 16th, Giving USA will release its annual report on philanthropy, publishing in-depth research on giving in 2019. During the forum, we will pinpoint the biggest headlines from 2019, with a focus on what has changed in 2020 so far, how the COVID-19 pandemic is reshaping philanthropy, and where we go from here.
Attendees will be among the first to hear the results of the Giving USA research. High-profile speakers will discuss how the world is changing, share their own experiences, and answer audience questions:
- Kelly Dolan, Chief Marketing and Development Officer, Ronald McDonald House Charities
- Helene D. Gayle, MD, MPH, President and CEO, The Chicago Community Trust
- Stacy Palmer, Editor, The Chronicle of Philanthropy
Helping to inform and moderate the conversation:
- Peter Fissinger, President and CEO, Campbell & Company
- Christina Yoon, PhD, Vice President and Director, East Region, Campbell & Company
CFRE: Full participation in this forum is applicable for up to 1.5 CFRE continuing education points in category 1.B - Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification.
