Webinar: Fundraising Communications 1: Defining Your Case for Support
Wednesday, November 28, 2018: 12:00 - 1:00pm Central
Our Fundraising Communications series is our core communications curriculum for nonprofit leaders, fundraisers, and communicators. From foundational ideas to finished materials, we provide concepts, examples, tools, and tricks for communicating effectively with donors and volunteers.
What’s our story for our donor audience? Every successful fundraising program needs a strong case for support, yet so many organizations struggle to define and articulate theirs. In the first webinar in our Fundraising Communications series, we’ll walk through a simple way to organize and approach this vitally important task—and build a case for a sample organization step by step.
Through this session, we will cover:
- A straightforward structure for your case that does what it needs to do
- A workable process for defining your case without driving yourself crazy
- Lots of case examples from across the nonprofit sector—and one sample case that we’ll build through the webinar
We’ll explore these ideas in the context of both annual fundraising and campaigns.
