California Advancement Partnership for Schools (CAPS) Conference, February 26-27, 2017, 9:00 am, Santa Rosa, CA
Educational institutions are experiencing a dramatic uptick in the diversity of their student bodies, especially the share of international students. However, most educational institutions have not determined how best to engage international supporters as donors. This webinar will explore how institutions are approaching international fundraising and will focus on best practices they have employed to build their outreach and fundraising practices with international constituencies.
This session will explore how institutions are approaching international fundraising, looking at initiatives through a number of lenses. We will discuss methods institutions have employed to build their outreach with international constituencies—including what has worked and the cultural fluencies driving the results. We will also examine what capabilities are needed by development/advancement departments to carry out such an initiative.
