With thirteen years of experience in fundraising, institutional advancement and nonprofit management, Tracy Tajbl brings to Campbell & Company her experience in developing, launching and directing successful campaigns, planning and directing feasibility studies, working with high-capacity donors and developing strategies to ensure successful solicitations.
Prior to joining Campbell & Company, Ms. Tajbl served as consultant to the Nashville Symphony, directing its capital and endowment campaign to fund the construction and operation of the Schermerhorn Symphony Center. That campaign exceeded its $120 million goal with many landmark gifts for the Symphony, including three gifts of $10 million or more and six gifts of $1 million or more from prospects with no previous Symphony giving history.
Ms. Tajbl has consulted with a variety of cultural, higher education, civic and social service organizations. She has also created and delivered training for development professionals on a variety of topics ranging from gift solicitation techniques and prospect research to preparation of foundation grant proposals. She has also spoken at conferences of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (Washington, DC) and OPERA America. Ms. Tajbl began her career with the American Cancer Society in Washington, DC where she was responsible for all aspects of the organization's local fundraising program, and subsequently served as associate director of alumni relations at The Catholic University of America (Washington).
Ms. Tajbl is an active member of the Junior League of Washington (JLW), where she recently co-chaired the JLW Presidential Mentoring Initiative, a one-to-one mentoring program designed to identify and develop the organization's future leadership. Ms. Tajbl holds a bachelor's degree in art history from Syracuse University and completed coursework in the fundraising specialist program at the George Washington University in Washington, DC. She and her husband live in the Washington, DC area.
