Sarah Anderson develops and writes fundraising and marketing materials at the Chicago office of Campbell & Company. Her work includes proposals, philanthropic market studies, development assessments and philanthropic prospectuses.
Before joining Campbell & Company, Ms. Anderson worked for PR Newswire, where she edited news releases and counseled clients on public relations strategies. Prior to moving to Chicago, Ms. Anderson wrote for The Associated Press in Columbus, Ohio, covering financial news around the state. She also has written for The Advocate newspaper in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, where she was recognized for her entertainment and business reporting.
An avid singer and guitarist, Ms. Anderson recently recorded an album of original music. She also edited a collection of her family’s personal columns, for which she is now pursuing publication. Ms. Anderson graduated from the University of Florida’s honors college in 2005, where she studied journalism, political science and business administration. While at the university, she served as editor-in-chief of The Independent Florida Alligator, the nation’s largest student-run newspaper.
