Russ Weigand brings over 40 years of fundraising and consulting experience to Campbell & Company’s clients. He joined the firm in 1977 and has served in a number of leadership positions, including co-president.
Russ has consulted on capital, annual and planned giving programs for a broad spectrum of clients, including educational, healthcare, cultural and social service organizations. He often assists in the development and articulation of clients’ goals and plans for campaign funding.
Russ is a frequent lecturer on planned giving, the tax aspects of charitable giving and one of his favorite topics—Fear Strikes Out: Eliminating the Angst of Making Personal Calls on Donors. He is a past chair of the American Association of Fundraising Counsel (AAFRC, now the Giving Institute).
Russ received his bachelor's degree from Elmhurst College in Illinois and his Master of Business Administration from Indiana University. He is a member of the Board of Trustees of Elmhurst College.
