Meredith L. Onion has more than fifteen years of experience as a human resource professional working for a large nonprofit association, for-profit companies, a university and a government agency. Prior to joining Campbell & Company, Ms. Onion served as a senior vice president with an executive search firm and consulted with Fortune 100 companies to recruit diverse executive leadership talent and provide management development training.

Ms. Onion has co-authored two books for the National Safety Council: Out in Front: Effective Supervision in the Workplace and You’ve Just Been Made the Supervisor… Now What? While working for the American Medical Association, she was interviewed and quoted in several articles published by the Society of Association Executives for her groundbreaking work with employee assistance programs and corporate wellness programs. Additionally, she has traveled to Southeast Asia to study industrial relations.

Ms. Onion has held a variety of volunteer positions, including vice president of fundraising for her local school system and leadership positions at her church. She holds a master of science degree in industrial relations from Loyola University Chicago and a bachelor’s degree from Bradley University. She is also a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP).
