About Leah Libolt

Leah Libolt is a member of Campbell & Company’s Southern California team. Her career has been characterized by the ability to find and implement unique solutions to organizational problems. By embracing data and organizational nuances, Leah has helped to develop solutions that have resulted in increased efficiency and fundraising revenues. In her role as Associate Consultant, Leah most enjoys:

Leah began her fundraising career as an intern in the annual fund department at her undergraduate alma mater, Smith College. After earning her degree in government, she moved to Washington, D.C. where she worked at a small government relations firm. From there she took a role in her home state, managing parent relations and parent giving at Scripps College in Claremont, CA. After Scripps, she worked in campaign strategy and donor relations at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles where she developed and managed a “brick-style” campaign for a new research building—a campaign that received numerous accolades for its innovative communications materials.

After spending nine years in fundraising and external relations, Leah returned to school to pursue a Master’s in Business Administration at the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. She attended business school with the intent of applying corporate best-practices to the nonprofit sector. Her business education has increased her understanding of the roles of technology, data analytics, organizational strategy, and operational practices in fundraising campaigns.

Prior to joining Campbell & Company, Leah worked in a temporary role in Donor Relations at Caltech—where she was tasked with creating a major gifts stewardship plan. She also served as Alumnae Class President at Smith College where she led a volunteer board through two-reunion planning cycles.
