Lyn McKay has over twenty years of experience in executive search, human resources management and organizational development in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors.  Before joining Campbell & Company in 2004, she was a senior vice president in a retained executive search firm, where she conducted searches in a wide variety of industries and functions, focusing on presenting a diverse slate of candidates for leadership-level positions.  Previous clients included Fortune 50 companies, as well as start-up technology organizations.

For a number of years, Ms. McKay was with First Chicago (now part of JPMorgan Chase), working in banking and human resources.  As an assistant vice president in human resources, she worked in executive recruiting, employee relations and organizational development, where she developed a management assessment and succession-planning program.  Earlier experience includes administrative management roles for a national medical association headquartered in Chicago.

Ms. McKay currently directs all executive search assignments for Campbell & Company and has worked with clients in education, healthcare, performing arts and museums, among others.

Ms. McKay has served on several boards of directors and held volunteer leadership positions in several community organizations.  In addition, she has volunteered as a career counselor and coached individuals on career strategies.  She is immediate past president of the Board of the Career Resource Center, a Chicago-area nonprofit organization that serves individuals in job transition.  Professional memberships include the Network of Nonprofit Search Consultants.

Ms. McKay is a graduate of Wheaton College, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology, and the University of Chicago, Graduate School of Business, where she earned her master of business administration degree in organizational development.
