Kelly Short specializes in strategic information management, strategy development and donor communications. With a background in technology and information systems, Ms. Short is particularly skilled in prospect research and research counsel.

Ms. Short joined Campbell & Company from Competitive Insights, a media analysis firm focusing on the technology and other business sectors.  While there, she developed products, conducted competitive analysis and provided clients with strategic counsel.  She also managed the strategic and tactical design of new business programs, wrote new business proposals and developed quantitative and qualitative market research programs.  Prior to Competitive Insights, Ms. Short served as an assistant account executive at Ketchum Public Relations, developing comprehensive media materials and working with the media.

Ms. Short entered the fundraising profession at the University of Notre Dame’s Chicago development office.  As a development assistant, she conducted prospect research, interacted directly with major benefactors and wrote donor correspondence to benefactors in the Chicago and surrounding regions.  Her work coincided with the culmination of Notre Dame’s $1 billion Generations Campaign.

Ms. Short is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame, where she majored in English and computer applications.  While at Notre Dame, she served as the president of the university chapter of the American Cancer Society.
