Elise Krikau has nine years of experience as a development professional, with experience in numerous development leadership roles in the higher education and healthcare sectors. Before joining Campbell & Company, Elise served as the Assistant Dean for Advancement for the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Applied Health Sciences. She maintained a major gift portfolio and oversaw all aspects of fundraising for the college, including annual and planned giving. She worked with academic and fundraising leaders, managed the Alumni Board and was responsible for founding the College’s Advisory Council.
Prior to UIC, Elise served as Manager of Major Gifts at the Greater Chicago Food Depository, where she helped to implement a major gifts program. She began her development career as Development Coordinator at Advocate Christ Medical Center, a position she held for one year before being promoted to Manager of Development. While working at Christ Medical Center she partnered with physician leaders to create advisory councils for the Heart and Vascular Institute, the Cancer Institute and the Emergency Medicine Department.
Elise is a member of the Chicago Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and currently serves on the board as the co-chair of the Membership Committee. She graduated from Central Michigan University with a Master’s of Science in Administration (concentration in health services), and received a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Management from North Park University.
