About Britt Moses RothrockBritt Moses Rothrock is based in Campbell & Company’s Washington, DC office, where she serves as project manager for Philanthropic Market Studies, Development Assessments and other client activities. Britt is an active and engaged listener and evaluator, helping staff and stakeholders work together to articulate and share an organization’s goals and meet their objectives. In her work, Britt especially values:
- Getting to know the staff and volunteers of nonprofit organizations
- Being a vested partner with an organization to advance its fundraising program
- Making “small-world” connections among development professionals
- Accessing Campbell & Company’s “bench” of resources to bring to a project
For four years, Britt served on the development staff of the National Trust for Historic Preservation in Washington, DC. While there, she managed a portfolio of major gift prospects in New England and the South and was a member of the development team that executed the Trust’s first-ever comprehensive campaign, which raised $135 million. Britt also managed a donor relations program, overseeing development communications and special events.
Prior to the Trust, Britt served as Director of Development for the College of Arts and Sciences at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. She launched her development career at American University in Washington, DC, where she was hired as a Development Research Coordinator and quickly rose to Assistant Director for Major Gifts.
Britt earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Western Kentucky University and a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Kentucky. Britt also holds a fundraising specialist certificate from The George Washington University.
