Brian Kish, CFRE

Brian Kish has worked as an annual giving professional and consultant for the last ten years.  Currently, he is the director of University development and constituent relations at Salve Regina University.  Prior to this, Mr. Kish was senior director of development for the University of California-Irvine, where he oversaw all University annual giving initiatives, as well as the Chancellor’s Club, Medical Center Grateful Patient Program and Major Donor Development programs. He has also worked at Ohio University and Iowa State University.

Mr. Kish brings to his clients cutting-edge strategies in direct mail, telemarketing and e-philanthropy.  He also has experience in budget development and management, affinity giving programs, the use of technology in fundraising, gift club marketing, statistical data analysis and strategic planning.

Mr. Kish is a frequent speaker and presenter at many conferences, including those for the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP), the Annual Giving Professionals Network and Big 12 development professionals.  His work has been recognized several times by CASE District and International Award Committees.  In 2004, he was awarded the CASE Crystal Apple for teaching excellence.

Graduating cum laude, Mr. Kish earned a bachelor’s degree in international relations from Ohio University.  In 2002, he received the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) designation.
