About Andy Brommel

Andy Brommel leads Campbell & Company’s creative communications services for clients and thought leadership program in communications, including our popular annual Fundraising Communications webinar series. He co-manages Campbell & Company’s communications team and serves on the firm’s management team.

As a consultant, Andy works in close collaboration with our communications team to serve clients across the nonprofit sector. Since 2007, he has worked with over a hundred clients, including fundraising campaigns of all sizes. In all projects, he brings a strong focus on messaging, with a rigorous, disciplined approach to defining core ideas that translate powerfully across communications media.

In addition to leading Campbell & Company’s Fundraising Communications webinar series, Andy is a frequent presenter at national, regional and local conferences. His regular topics include case development and donor messaging, campaign communications and special in-depth workshops on writing.

Any given day at Campbell & Company, Andy looks forward to:

  • Working with our communications team to push ideas to their fullest depth, clarity and impact
  • Engaging with nonprofit leaders and boards to build their confidence in telling their organization’s story
  • Talking to staff and volunteers to learn what makes their organization unique and powerful

Andy graduated with highest honors from Northwestern University with a degree in English and Performance Studies. Outside of his professional activities, he is an active musician, songwriter and producer with a background in theatrical sound design.
