Campbell & Company Expands D.C. Office with Patrick H. Johnson, Senior Consultant

July 26, 2012 – Washington, D.C.: Appointed as Senior Consultant in Campbell & Company’s
Washington D.C. office, Patrick H. Johnson brings more than 16 years of nonprofit and business development experience. He will help expand services deeper into the southeast as
well as nationally in the higher education and healthcare sectors. With offices across the country, Campbell & Company is a national fundraising consulting and executive search firm serving nonprofit organizations since 1976.

About Patrick H. Johnson
Patrick Johnson joins Campbell & Company from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN, where he served as the Senior Associate Vice President for Institutional Advancement. In this role, he cemented partnerships with significant corporate and foundation funders, and developed the infrastructure for a $200 million campaign.
Prior to his position with Meharry Medical College, Patrick served as a regional development director for the University of Tennessee during its one billion dollar “Campaign for the Future;” in this role, he established a four-state regional headquarters in Atlanta, GA that served all five of the university system’s campuses.
Patrick holds a B.A. in Philosophy from Fisk University and a certificate in Planned Giving from The Fundraising School at Indiana University. He completed the “mini-MBA” program at Belmont University in 2008. Patrick has a passion for community service, serving on numerous advisory boards for various organizations. Prior to college, Patrick proudly served as a member of 4/278th Air Calvary Regiment of the Tennessee National Guard where he was honorably discharged in 1996. As a volunteer, Patrick has served on the special Task Force on Minority Business Reform for the State of Maryland and the Maryland Governor's Commission on Minority Business Reform.
