HANDS-ON SERVICES
As organizations struggle to balance their budgets in this challenging economy, many are being asked to raise more money—but with fewer staff and other resources.  If this describes your situation, interim staffing and hands-on fundraising assistance may be the most cost-effective way to meet today’s urgent challenges.

Interim Executive Staffing
These days we are often asked to join our client’s team on-site—full-time or for several days per week or per month.  Our experienced team can implement day-to-day program management for the entire development function or for a specific campaign. This approach saves overall costs compared to fully-loaded permanent hires and can solve the temporary problems created by across-the-board staff cuts, attrition or postponed hires. Campbell & Company’s experienced staff will work with leadership, staff and volunteers to make sure that your organization doesn’t miss a beat.  More on our capabilities>>

HANDS-ON CLIENTS
Communities In Schools National Office in Alexandria, VA requested a development assessment. The study evaluated where to best focus their resources to keep their fundraising program strong and growing.  In the capacity of interim director of development, we subsequently designed strategies to better engage the Board and Development Committee; researched and profiled the top 50 foundations; drafted donor appeals and other key correspondence; revised and assisted in the execution of the annual fund strategy; and assisted with candidate interviews for a permanent director of development.  As both an “extra pair of hands” and as strategic counsel, our team is helping ensure that CIS won’t miss a beat.

St. John’s College High School in Washington, DC, wished to handle the increased demands of their capital campaign with existing development staffing levels.  Our team is supplementing staff resources with hands-on database administration, major gifts portfolio design and administration and outreach to potential major gifts donors, working closely with campaign volunteer leaders.
